Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Dwarf tribal synergy with aggressive artifact and Treasure token production. Commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, the strategy focuses on curving out low-cost Dwarves in the opening turns, deploying acceleration like Magda, Brazen Outlaw or Fíli and Kíli, Joyous, and landing Thorin on Turn 5. Thorin immediately triggers to create Treasure tokens while granting an escalating power buff to every other Dwarf based on your total artifact token count. Secondary engines like Academy Manufactor and Smothering Tithe supercharge this scaling, turning small utility creatures into lethal combat threats. The deck closes games through wide combat steps boosted by Akroma's Will, Dáin of the Ancient Halls, or Dragon payoffs such as Smaug the Magnificent. While vulnerable to mass board wipes, its dense tribal redundancy and focused protection package ensure steady, high-velocity pressure.
