Gandalf Drinks You Under tha Table by josephwaibel19988

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai spellslinger deck helmed by Gandalf, Party Guest, built around a dense legendary Wizards subtheme. The commander's beginning-of-combat trigger lets you cast an instant or sorcery for free, with the mana value ceiling scaling off how many legendary Wizards you control - so the entire deck is engineered to flood the board with legendary Wizards and then chain free spells. A massive copy suite (Thousand-Year Storm, Double Vision, Storm of Saruman, Galvanic Iteration, Alania, Divergent Storm, Kitsa, Otterball Elite, Gandalf the Grey, Veyran, Voice of Duality, Harmonic Prodigy, Primal Amulet, Wizard's Staff) multiplies every spell. Primary wins: chain extra turns (Expropriate, Time Warp, Temporal Manipulation) with copies, burn via Niv-Mizzet, Parun pings and Gandalf the Grey's 3-damage mode, or a giant combat swing with Kykar, Wind's Fury spirits and Insurrection.
