Deck overview

This deck is a themed exhibition build centered on the concept of playing entirely for free. Nearly every nonland card in the list is a zero-mana spell, pitch spell, Phyrexian mana spell, Trap, or pregame card from the Leyline and Chancellor cycles. The mana base contains just 5 basic lands and 5 Borderposts. While the deck can perform an explosive Turn 0 and Turn 1 deployment of Leylines, Baubles, and 0-cost creatures, it lacks a functional mana engine and repeatable card draw. As a result, the pilot quickly empties their hand into a low-impact board of 0/1 to 0/3 creatures. The commander, Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., cannot realistically activate his five-color ability due to extreme mana starvation. The deck functions as an entertaining novelty that showcases free Magic spells but has no viable path to eliminate three opponents.
