Deck overview

This Temur Dragon Stompy deck harnesses Ureni of the Unwritten to cheat massive flying threats directly onto the battlefield. Supported by a robust suite of 1–3 CMC ramp artifacts, land searchers, and cost-reducing shamans, the deck reliably generates seven mana by Turn 5 to deploy Ureni. Upon entering and attacking, Ureni digs eight cards deep to cheat high-impact Dragons into play, quickly assembling an overwhelming aerial presence. Finishers like Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Scourge of the Throne amplify combat output through double strike, token swarms, and extra combat steps, closing out games across two attack cycles by Turn 7. While the deck boasts high threat density and resilient engine recovery, it lacks stack interaction and instant-speed board protection, leaving its mid-game board commitments vulnerable to sweepers and fast opposing combo strategies.
