Deck overview

This Abzan deck is commanded by Anikthea, Hand of Erebos and revolves around an Enchantress reanimator strategy. In the early turns, it deploys low-cost ramp, cost reducers, and draw engines like Sythis, Harvest's Hand and Sanctum Weaver. By Turn 4, Anikthea enters the battlefield to reanimate key non-Aura enchantments from the graveyard as 3/3 black Zombie creatures with menace. The deck leverages powerful token multipliers such as Doubling Season and Parallel Lives, alongside game-ending constellation scaling from Boon of the Spirit Realm. It locks down aggressive opponents through pillowfort pieces like Sphere of Safety and drains them with Painful Quandary. Even when Anikthea is removed, deep card velocity and alternate finishers like Destiny Spinner ensure the deck consistently applies overwhelming pressure to close games around Turn 7.
