Deck overview

This Boros deck pairs Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful with Jeska, Thrice Reborn to execute an explosive Voltron strategy. By deploying Yoshimaru on Turn 1 and chaining low-cost legendary permanents, artifacts, and equipment on Turn 2, Yoshimaru rapidly grows in power. On Turn 3, casting Jeska and activating her damage-tripling zero loyalty ability enables Yoshimaru to eliminate an opponent in a single combat step with 21 or more commander damage. The deck features a robust equipment tutoring suite that fetches evasion, protection, and trample to guarantee combat connections. Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar allows single swings to threaten all three opponents simultaneously, while The Reaver Cleaver and Aggravated Assault provide an alternate infinite combat kill. A dense suite of free and low-cost protection spells shields the commanders from targeted removal and sweepers throughout execution.
