Deck overview

This deck combines a compact, highly efficient combo core with a resilient four-color planeswalker control shell led by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary win condition centers on the format-defining Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact combination, which reliably executes on Turn 4. Extensive black tutoring (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal, Lim-Dûl's Vault) guarantees consistent access to both pieces, while an elite counterspell suite featuring Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Pact of Negation protects the win. When fast combo lines are contested, the deck transitions seamlessly into a mid-game control strategy utilizing Rhystic Study, Talion, the Kindly Lord, and high-impact planeswalkers such as Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting. A dedicated Empower Jace subtheme provides incremental board presence, card selection, and loyalty acceleration, enabling the deck to maintain long-term card advantage and board control.
