Deck overview

This deck leverages Mendicant Core, Guidelight at the helm of an Azorius artifact-focused beatdown strategy. The game plan focuses on establishing a dense board of low-cost artifacts and mana dorks during the opening turns to rapidly scale the power of Mendicant Core and related creatures such as Master of Etherium and Bronze Guardian. Once a high power threshold is reached, the deck bypasses opposing defenses using an extensive suite of low-cost unblockable cantrips and Auras like Steel of the Godhead, Aqueous Form, and Slip Through Space. Ward and hexproof enablers provide layered shielding against targeted interaction while the deck systematically eliminates opponents one by one through unblockable combat and commander damage.
