Neriv, Crackling Vanguard by Zerok

Format: Commander

Commander: Neriv, Crackling Vanguard

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Neriv, Crackling Vanguard leads a Mardu token-impulse deck. The primary plan is to build a board with many differently named tokens, attack with Neriv to exile a large chunk of cards, then cast those cards to create more tokens and trigger payoffs. The two hidden commanders are Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival and Quintorius Kand, who convert exile-casting into Thopters and burn. A secondary combo finish uses Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker plus Zealous Conscripts to make infinite hasty attackers. Drain effects like Mirkwood Bats and Bastion of Remembrance supplement combat, while Divine Visitation and Elspeth, Sun's Champion turn the swarm into flying 4/4s.
