Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Jeskai control and stax deck designed to dismantle opposing mana bases through asymmetric mass land destruction and oppressive taxing effects. The strategy accelerates through a dense suite of two-mana artifact rocks and early engines such as Rhystic Study and Esper Sentinel. Once mana parity is secured, the deck deploys crushing denial pieces including Winter Orb, Static Orb, Hokori, Dust Drinker, and Blood Moon, culminating in decisive board wipes like Armageddon and Cataclysm. By breaking parity with artifact mana, Crucible of Worlds, and protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm, the deck keeps its resources intact while opponents are starved of mana. Numot, the Devastator serves as the primary finisher and ongoing land-destruction engine, systematically attacking opponents, destroying any recovering lands, and closing the game through evasive commander damage alongside beaters like Sun Titan and Karlach, Fury of Avernus.
