Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul midrange strategy centered on Kibo, Uktabi Prince. It combines Ape and Monkey tribal synergy with extensive artifact destruction. Kibo accelerates the game by handing Banana tokens to all players. Whenever opponents sacrifice their Bananas for mana or have their artifacts destroyed by spells like Meltdown, Fade from History, or Bane of Progress, every Ape and Monkey on your board receives +1/+1 counters. The deck leverages card draw engines like Viridian Revel and Garruk's Uprising to maintain resources while growing a wide, tall board of primates. It converts this board presence into a win through trample enablers, unblockable lands, and overrun effects such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While vulnerable to creature sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck heavily punishes Treasure and artifact-reliant strategies.
