Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Combo-Control list piloted by Alela, Cunning Conqueror. The game plan balances instant-speed interactive control with a compact, stack-based finish. During the early turns, the deck establishes mana velocity using artifacts and rituals while sculpting its hand with efficient cantrips and tutors like Mystical Tutor and Muddle the Mixture. Its commander generates evasive Faerie Rogue tokens on opponents' turns and goads opposing threats to redirect incoming attacks. When ready, the deck transitions into a lethal win using Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation, winning in a single priority window. If the primary line is contested, redundant win conditions including Painter's Servant with Grindstone and Bloodchief Ascension with Mindcrank provide robust alternative angles of victory. Dense countermagic and removal ensure the deck can protect its own execution while disrupting opposing attempts.
