Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrat strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The game plan revolves around deploying high-power Zombie creatures and lords, then using Gisa to convert them into exponential armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Once a wide token board is established, the deck applies pressure through overwhelming combat damage buffed by lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief, or through direct life drain via Ayara, First of Locthwain, The Meathook Massacre, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Control elements such as Grave Pact and Noxious Ghoul systematically clear opposing boards whenever creatures die or enter. Mana ramp like Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast fuels devastating mid-to-late-game finishers such as Torment of Hailfire. While vulnerable to instant-speed interaction targeting Gisa and lacking stack-based interaction, the deck maintains high redundancy, potent graveyard recursion, and multiple independent lines to close out multiplayer tables.
