Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal deck helmed by Scion of the Ur-Dragon, built around tutoring Dragons to the graveyard and transforming Scion into a copy of the most impactful Dragon for the current board state. The primary game plan is to accelerate into Scion, then use his activated ability to become a copy of Atarka, World Render for double strike, Utvara Hellkite for exponential token generation, or Kokusho, the Evening Star for drain loops. A robust reanimation package (Animate Dead, Necromancy, Living Death, Unburial Rites) supports the graveyard-destination tutoring and provides resilience. The deck wins primarily through combat damage with a swarm of Dragons, supported by cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator.
