Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Bear typal aggressive strategy commanded by Ayula, Queen Among Bears. The primary plan establishes Ayula on turn 2 and cascades low-cost Bears on subsequent turns to grow an imposing board while fighting down opposing utility creatures. Midgame card draw engines like Tribute to the World Tree and Garruk's Uprising sustain hand size as the board widens. The deck reaches critical pressure around turn 6, converting accumulated +1/+1 counters into lethal damage through mass overrun effects such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, Beastmaster Ascension, and Unnatural Growth. Protection spells like Heroic Intervention shield the board from sweepers, while repeatable fight triggers keep opposing commanders in check.
