Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Simic aggro-combo engine built around Ezuri, Claw of Progress. The primary game plan accelerates out Ezuri on Turn 2 using efficient fast mana and low-cost creature dorks. As small utility creatures enter the battlefield, Ezuri accumulates experience counters that stay on the player permanently. Once 5 experience counters are stored, casting Sage of Hours for two mana creates an infinite extra-turn loop. Ezuri places 5 +1/+1 counters onto Sage of Hours at the beginning of each combat, which are removed to take another turn immediately. During these infinite turns, Ezuri grows attackers to lethal power and eliminates the table in one continuous cycle. The deck protects its win turn with free counterspells like Fierce Guardianship and Force of Will, while disrupting artifact-heavy opponents with Collector Ouphe and Null Rod. Backup win routes include unblockable infect via Blighted Agent and large overruns with Finale of Devastation.
