Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis forced-draw group-slug strategy led by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. Its game plan centers on turning card draw from a universal resource into a lethal liability. In the early turns, the deck develops mana with artifacts and deploys symmetric card-draw engines like Howling Mine, Kami of the Crescent Moon, and Dictate of Kruphix. Once Nekusar or redundant punishers like Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse hit the battlefield, every card drawn drains opposing life totals. The deck accelerates this damage clock by casting mass wheel effects like Windfall and Winds of Change, inflicting large bursts of simultaneous damage across the entire table. It also includes an alternate win condition in the Curiosity and Niv-Mizzet, Parun combo. While it produces high damage and card flow, feeding opponents extra cards without holding dense countermagic leaves its battlefield vulnerable to removal.
