Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a red-white Dwarf-tribal aggro deck that turns Dwarf entrances into Treasures and then converts Treasures into Equipment and giant double-striking swings. The primary plan is a voltron commander kill: equip Thorin with cheap weapons, multiply into Treasures with Reaver Cleaver and Goldspan Dragon, then finish with Reyav, Dain Ironfoot, Boros Charm, or Akroma's Will for a single 21-point swing. Secondary paths use Magda, Smothering Tithe, Xorn, and Academy Manufactor to build a Treasure storm that fuels Smaug the Magnificent, Dain of the Ancient Halls, or an extra-combat Desert Were-Worm. Magda, Brazen Outlaw is the closest thing to a hidden commander, found early by Dwarven Recruiter.
