Vishgraz, the Doomhive is a single-faced commander, so the deck is built around its front face; the most important double-faced non-commander is Elesh Norn // The Argent Etchings. Primary plan: deploy toxic/infect creatures, create Mite tokens, and use proliferate to turn a single poison counter into a lethal clock for all three opponents. Secondary paths: an Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle + Vishgraz loop producing infinite mana, closed by Walking Ballista; and an incubate package fronted by Elesh Norn whose saga half supplies double strike and a Phyrexian-only board wipe. Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa acts as a hidden commander, converting corrupted opponents into card advantage. Commander's role is tempo beater, token generator, and combo enabler; if it is never cast, the poison plan still functions through other toxic threats.
