Deck overview

This deck is a Simic creature midrange strategy commanded by Mikey & Don, Party Planners. It focuses on assembling a board of Mutant, Ninja, and Turtle creatures, playing extra lands and threats straight from the top of the library. Each creature cast this way enters with a bonus +1/+1 counter, fueling synergies with cards like Ezuri, Claw of Progress, Venus, Torn Between Worlds, and The Thirteenth Doctor. The deck converts these counters into combat pressure using trample, evasion, and anti-blocking effects from Michelangelo, Mutant BFF. A deep suite of low-cost counterspells and protective spells like Inspiring Call shields key permanents from opposing removal. While it lacks instant infinite combos, it delivers consistent card advantage and compounding board presence to overwhelm the table by Turn 8.
