Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, focusing on token generation, sacrifice synergy, and aristocrat drain. Chatterfang turns any token creation into additional 1/1 green Squirrel tokens, rapidly building a wide board. The deck leverages these tokens for mana acceleration with Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, massive card draw through Skullclamp, and repeatable creature removal using Chatterfang's activated ability. The primary path to victory uses an infinite combo between Chatterfang and Pitiless Plunderer to generate infinite mana, infinite death triggers, and board-wiping -X/-X effects. Aristocrats like Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats drain opponents directly, while combat finishers like Beastmaster Ascension and End-Raze Forerunners provide an alternate swarm route. The deck applies steady board control starting on Turn 4 and reliably closes games between Turns 5 and 6.
