Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is led by Sonic the Hedgehog and focuses on aggressive combat tempo powered by creatures with flash and haste. The early turns establish cheap, aggressive creatures such as Tin Street Dodger, Torch Courier, or Archivist of Oghma. Deploying Sonic on Turn 4 allows an immediate attack thanks to built-in haste, triggering Gotta Go Fast to place +1/+1 counters across all flash and haste creatures. As combat damage and blocking trades occur, Sonic generates Treasure tokens to accelerate into top-end curve-toppers. The deck transitions to a lethal clock on Turn 6 by dropping major force multipliers like Herald of Secret Streams for unblockable attacks, Akki Battle Squad or Aurelia, the Warleader for extra combat phases, or Super State for massive trample damage. While vulnerable to creature sweepers and lacking dedicated tutor packages, the deck maintains high threat density and swift recovery.
