Deck overview

This Grixis deck is helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, combining Villain tribal synergies, discard triggers, and lethal combo finishes. The deck uses Doctor Doom's combat connive ability to sculpt hands, fill the graveyard, and drain opponent life totals whenever land cards are discarded. Beneath this synergistic value engine lies a potent Grixis combo core featuring Underworld Breach storm lines with Brain Freeze and Dark Ritual, alongside instant-win lines via Doomsday or Leveler paired with Doctor Doom, Unrivaled and Laboratory Maniac. Efficient tutors like Entomb, Buried Alive, and Gifts Ungiven provide streamlined access to key pieces, while reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead exploit the stocked graveyard. A low-curve interaction suite packed with countermagic and removal protects combo turns and disrupts opponents. While vulnerable to well-timed graveyard hate and creature removal, the deck's multiple overlapping win conditions and resilient card filtering ensure lethal inevitability.
