Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Mono-Green Landfall and +1/+1 counters stompy build commanded by Bristly Bill, Spine Sower. The strategy focuses on curving out with early land acceleration, deploying Bristly Bill on Turn 2, and rapidly compounding counters through Landfall triggers and counter magnifiers like Branching Evolution, Kami of Whispered Hopes, and Innkeeper's Talent. By Turn 4 or 5, the deck transitions into devastating combat threats such as Kalonian Hydra, Mossborn Hydra, and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, utilizing Bill's repeatable team-wide counter doubling ability to produce lethal trample damage. The deck features strong engine redundancy and resilient counter storage via The Ozolith, allowing it to recover quickly from single-target disruption. Its main limitations stem from a near-total absence of reactive removal for opposing non-creature permanents and combos, as well as vulnerability to mass exile sweepers like Farewell.
