Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya go-wide aggressive deck commanded by Kudo, King Among Bears. Kudo sets the base power and toughness of all other creatures to 2/2 and makes them Bears. The strategy breaks parity on this symmetrical effect by deploying numerous 1/1 token producers and small mana dorks, which immediately scale up to 2/2 creatures. Layered static anthems, +1/+1 counters, and Bear-tribal synergies like Ayula, Queen Among Bears amplify the swarm, allowing the deck to rapidly out-stat opponents in combat. In addition to combat pressure, the deck includes asymmetrical silver bullets: Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite eliminates opposing creatures through state-based death, while Reverence prevents opposing 2/2s from attacking. Robust protection spells safeguard the creature board against sweepers. The deck lacks fast mana rocks and direct tutors, relying instead on high functional redundancy to consistently execute its anthem-driven beatdown plan across mid-power Commander tables.
