Deck overview

This is a toughness-matters Treefolk combat deck built around Doran, Besieged by Time. The primary plan is to ramp into the commander early, back it with a toughness-damage enabler such as Doran, the Siege Tower or Assault Formation, then use the commander's attack trigger to turn the power/toughness gap into massive pumps. The hidden commander is Doran, the Siege Tower, since it supplies the crucial toughness-damage effect. Secondary paths include life gain through Trostani and Orchard Warden, card advantage from Betor and Fecund Greenshell, and a game-ending burst from Unnatural Growth. The deck wins through combat, usually grinding out one opponent per turn after building a large board.
