Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon Tribal Midrange strategy centered around Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its core game plan involves spending the early turns accelerating mana via ramp spells and cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and Farseek, aiming to resolve Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Once Miirym is established, every subsequent nontoken Dragon spell generates a nonlegendary token copy, rapidly multiplying flying stats, combat triggers, and enter-the-battlefield effects. Powerhouse payoffs like Utvara Hellkite, Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Astral Dragon present overwhelming aerial board states that close out games through massive combat damage or direct burn triggers from Dragon Tempest and Wrathful Red Dragon. While the deck possesses explosive mid-to-late game board development and strong standalone threats, its reliance on tapping out for high-mana sorcery-speed permanents leaves it vulnerable to board sweepers and tempo disruption.
