Deck overview

Veyran, Voice of Duality is the trigger-doubling engine of an Izzet spellslinger deck that converts cantrips into burn, mana, and card draw. The primary plan is to assemble Fiery Inscription and Coruscation Mage, then chain cheap instants and sorceries while Birgi, Storm-Kiln Artist, and cost reducers make the chain mana-positive; Veyran doubles every trigger, letting seven or eight spells kill all opponents. Secondary wins are the Niv-Mizzet, Parun loops with Tandem Lookout or Niv-Mizzet, Visionary, plus a Thousand-Year Storm/Reiterate ritual loop. There is no hidden commander; Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Thousand-Year Storm serve as alternate endgame engines rather than a second commander.
