Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul aggro and artifact-punishment strategy commanded by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The plan revolves around giving every player Banana artifact tokens and leveraging the inevitable sacrifice or destruction of those artifacts to grow Kibo and other Ape, Monkey, and Changeling creatures with +1/+1 counters. The deck runs a dense suite of artifact removal spells such as Vandalblast, Bane of Progress, and Anzrag's Rampage, transforming symmetrical token gifts into massive asymmetric power boosts. Heavy-hitting threats like Kogla, the Titan Ape and Taurean Mauler provide redundant pressure, while cards like Bloodroot Apothecary and Vengeful Tracker punish opponents directly for using their tokens. With ample protection spells to shield key attackers and explosive power-based card draw like Rishkar's Expertise, the deck smoothly transitions from political token distribution to decisive combat finishes using Overwhelming Stampede or Chandra's Ignition.
