Better Kardur Deck by GenericMTGPlayer

Format: Commander

Commander: Kardur, Doomscourge

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kardur, Doomscourge heads a Rakdos goad-and-drain deck built around redirecting opponents' attacks and profiting from every death. Kardur is an ETB engine rather than a beatstick; the deck re-triggers him with Conjurer's Closet and Golden Argosy. The primary path is forcing attacks via Kardur, Disrupt Decorum, Karazikar, and Parasitic Impetus, then converting deaths into life loss with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Vraan, Mayhem Devil, and Stalking Vengeance. The secondary path is direct burn, using Dictate of the Twin Gods with Chandra's Ignition, and a Mana Geyser-fueled Crackle with Power. There is no hidden commander; Kardur is the sole engine, with the deck functioning at reduced but real strength without him.
