WIZARDWOOD NEXUS by user6897433

Format: Commander

Commander: Inalla, Archmage Ritualist

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 28

Deck overview

This deck utilizes Inalla, Archmage Ritualist as an eminence engine from the command zone, subverting traditional tribal builds by transforming massive non-Wizard threats into Wizards via Arcane Adaptation, Leyline of Transformation, and Maskwood Nexus. Once converted, heavy ETB creatures such as Terror of the Peaks, Inferno Titan, and Rottenmouth Viper trigger Inalla's ability for a single generic mana, yielding hasty token copies that immediately double down on triggers and combat pressure. A dense suite of clone creatures, including Phantasmal Image, Flesh Duplicate, and Phyrexian Metamorph, scales these threats rapidly while Sundial of the Infinite lets you retain temporary tokens permanently. The deck thrives on explosive midgame damage swings and asymmetric value, though it relies heavily on drawing or tutoring one of its few type-changing enablers to unlock Inalla's eminence.
