Deck overview

This Gruul deck uses Atarka, World Render to lead a high-impact Dragon tribal combat strategy. The game plan focuses on deploying early ramp spells and cost reducers to reach six or seven mana ahead of curve. Once mana is established, the deck casts formidable flying Dragons such as Savage Ventmaw, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames. Casting Atarka grants all attacking Dragons double strike, transforming medium aerial boards into lethal threats. Haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Rhythm of the Wild ensure threats pressure life totals immediately upon entering the battlefield. Card flow is sustained through power-based draw spells like Garruk's Uprising and Return of the Wildspeaker. While vulnerable to mass creature sweepers and targeted removal during combat, the deck applies immense aerial pressure that can eliminate opponents across two to three combat steps.
