Commander: Black Waltz No. 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos spellslinger-burn deck helmed by Black Waltz No. 3, whose entire game plan is to chain noncreature spells and convert each cast into table-wide damage. The commander's 2-damage ping is reinforced by a redundant Wizard-pinger package - Guttersnipe, Thermo-Alchemist, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, Fiery Inscription, and the Wizard tokens from Circle of Power, Cornered by Black Mages, and Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. Damage doublers like Dictate of the Twin Gods, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Kuja's transformed back face multiply every ping, while Harmonic Prodigy and Roaming Throne double the triggers themselves. The deck closes with big X-spells (Exsanguinate, Drain Life, Soul Burn, Fireball) powered by Cabal Coffers/Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, or the life-gain engine of Aetherflux Reservoir. It is a slow, grindy, inevitability-driven burn deck with almost no stack interaction.
