Obeka, Splitter of Seconds by Danetta

Format: Commander

Commander: Obeka, Splitter of Seconds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Obeka, Splitter of Seconds converts combat damage into extra upkeep steps, and this Grixis deck stacks every upkeep payoff available. Courts of Ambition, Embereth, Locthwain and Vantress, plus Phyrexian Arena, Smaug the Magnificent and Sphinx of the Second Sun, all trigger multiple times once Obeka connects. Paradox Haze, Shadow of the Second Sun and The Ninth Doctor act as hidden commanders that double upkeeps without Obeka, while Roaming Throne, Sakashima and Spark Double multiply triggers. The primary win is an infinite combat and upkeep loop with Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine fueled by Sphinx/Shadow and Smaug treasures, with Court drain and hasty beats as backup.
