Deck overview

This Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck is a dedicated Grixis wheel-burn engine that turns symmetric card draw into asymmetric table-wide damage. Supported by pristine mana fixing and efficient 2-mana ramp, the deck rapidly deploys static draw and discard punishers like Nekusar, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Underworld Dreams. Once a punisher is established on turn 4, the pilot chains sorcery-speed wheel effects like Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Whispering Madness on turns 5 and 6 to shred opposing life totals in massive 7-damage increments per wheel. Beyond pure damage attrition, the deck disrupts opponent gameplans through devastating synergies such as Notion Thief wheel locks and Teferi's Puzzle Box hand disruption. It also carries compact backup win conditions, including Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation and Bloodchief Ascension with Mindcrank. While vulnerable to well-timed creature removal in response to wheels, free defensive spells and deep redundancy make the deck a relentless clock.
