Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER by user5520206

Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Sephiroth is a transforming aristocrats commander. The front face is a sacrifice-a-creature draw engine that pings for one life per death and flips on the fourth death in a turn; the back face adds a permanent emblem that turns every creature death into a drain. The deck's primary plan is the classic recursive sac loop: make or reanimate a creature, feed it to a free outlet, and drain with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Marionette Apprentice. Secondary plans are Gray Merchant devotion burst and Bolas's Citadel's ten-permanent sacrifice. The commander accelerates the engine, but the deck has enough redundant outlets and drains to work without it, especially with tutors and graveyard recursion.
