Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Kess, Dissident Mage to control the game through efficient counterspells and instant-speed interaction while assembling game-ending combos. The primary win condition leverages Bruvac the Grandiloquent paired with a kicked Maddening Cacophony to mill all opponents' libraries simultaneously on turn 5. A secondary win condition hardcasts or reanimates Leveler alongside Thassa's Oracle or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. Fast mana pieces like Mana Vault, Sol Ring, and Dark Ritual accelerate deployment, while Rhystic Study and Mystic Remora maintain card advantage. Kess provides powerful redundancy by flashing back tutors, removal, and countermagic directly from the graveyard. While the deck lacks creature tutors, its deep interaction suite and strong recursion make it resilient against disruption.
