Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Marvel Villain tribal midrange strategy helmed by Thanos, the Mad Titan. The game plan revolves around deploying synergistic low-to-mid-cost Villain creatures that generate 2/1 menace tokens, loot through connive triggers, and drain opponents incrementally. While the commander provides an asymmetrical odd-or-even creature wipe via its power-up ability, the 99 contains substantial standalone power in high-impact threats like Doctor Doom, Ultron, Machine Overlord, and The Coming of Galactus. The deck relies entirely on fair combat and direct drain triggers to eliminate opponents over several attack steps. Its main limitations stem from a sluggish mana base running 16 basic Swamps alongside tap-lands, minimal fast mana, and a lack of stack interaction, making it vulnerable to fast combo strategies and opposing sweepers.
