Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa pilots an Abzan poison deck that wins by putting all three opponents to 10 poison counters at once rather than through conventional damage. The plan runs on two parallel clocks: a wave of cheap toxic/infect carriers chips in combat while a redundant proliferate package (Evolution Sage, Metastatic Evangel, Bloated Contaminator, Contaminant Grafter, Karn's Bastion) compounds every player's poison simultaneously. Early Ichor Rats and incidental triggers from Venerated Rotpriest and Bloodroot Apothecary jump-start the corrupted threshold; once opponents sit at 3+ poison, Ixhel exiles their top cards each end step and turns their own libraries into fuel. Finishers like Triumph of the Hordes, Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, Phyrexian Swarmlord, and Vishgraz, the Doomhive close out in one or two swings. Ixhel is a value engine rather than a prerequisite - the 99 executes the poison plan with or without her.
