Shadowfax, Lord of Horses

Format: Commander

Commander: Shadowfax, Lord of Horses

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros deck uses Shadowfax, Lord of Horses to cheat creatures into play. Shadowfax gives Horses haste and lets you put a smaller creature from hand onto the battlefield tapped and attacking whenever he attacks. The primary plan is to ramp, cast Shadowfax on turn 4-5, then chain attacks that drop anthems and token makers for free and swing for lethal. Secondary paths go wide with Captain of the Watch and Siege-Gang Commander or finish with double strike from Flaming Fist and Berserkers' Onslaught. Tori D'Avenant, Fury Rider acts as a hidden commander that turns every attack into a team pump. No infinite combo exists; wins come from sequential combat damage.
