Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Gruul stompy and theft engine centered on Etali, Primal Conqueror. Its primary game plan is to accelerate aggressively in the opening turns using a dense suite of 25+ ramp spells, mana dorks, and artifacts to deploy Etali by Turn 4. Upon entering the battlefield, Etali casts four nonland cards for free from all players' libraries, immediately flooding the board with overwhelming threat density and resource advantage. The deck capitalizes on this entry trigger by utilizing temporary and permanent cloning effects like Molten Duplication, Twinflame, and Conjurer's Closet to repeatedly trigger Etali's ability. It closes the game by attacking with massive trampling beaters, chaining extra combat steps, or paying {9}{G/P} to transform Etali into Etali, Primal Sickness for lethal 11-power trample poison damage. While the deck possesses immense mana velocity and rapid burst card advantage, it features very little reactive interaction or cheap protection, relying on proactive threat overload to overwhelm opponents.
