Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Rakdos spellslinger and burn strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. The primary objective is to deploy Kuja early, generate Wizard tokens on each end step, and assemble four Wizards to trigger Kuja's transformation into Trance Kuja. Once transformed, Trance Kuja doubles all damage dealt by Wizards, turning every cheap noncreature spell into an explosive board-wide burn trigger. Supported by mana engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist, alongside spell recursion from Past in Flames and Will of the Jeskai, the deck can chain cantrips, rituals, and impulse draws in a single turn to eliminate all three opponents simultaneously. The 99 is densely packed with redundant Wizard pingers and damage amplifiers, ensuring that the deck maintains lethal pressure even if its commander faces targeted removal.
