Golgari fun! by ReallyJoker

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer is the heart of a token-and-X-spell build. The deck first makes a wide board of Saprolings, Pests, Squirrels, Dryads, and Faeries, then casts Witherbloom at a heavily discounted cost thanks to affinity for creatures. Once it is out, every instant and sorcery-Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, Finale of Devastation, Awaken the Woods-also gets affinity, letting huge X spells resolve for a handful of mana. Secondary paths include overrun combat from Finale/Overwhelming Stampede and token drain from Mirkwood Bats. Hazel of the Rootbloom acts as a hidden token-mana/copy engine, while Doubling Season and Parallel Lives multiply the payoff. The deck can win through big X drain or a lethal haste swing.
