Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black midrange and token strategy built around Doctor Doom. The game plan focuses on developing mana, deploying synergistic Villain and artifact creatures, and casting Doctor Doom to create a resilient, wide board presence. When Doctor Doom enters the battlefield, he creates two 3/3 Doombot artifact creature tokens, gains indestructible, and provides continuous card draw on every end step. The deck pressures opponents through wide token combat bolstered by anthems such as Obelisk of Urd and Ultron, Machine Overlord, or high-impact equipment like Lashwrithe. Additionally, the deck contains a decisive infinite combo using Ashnod's Altar and Nim Deathmantle alongside Doctor Doom to generate infinite 3/3 Doombots and colorless mana. A targeted removal suite handles opposing creatures and enchantments, while equipment like Lightning Greaves protects key engines. The deck plays a consistent, resilient game with strong recovery from board wipes.
