land fall elfs by user6542095

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil the Strategist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a landfall-value deck that leans on Elves. Thranduil the Strategist is both a token engine and a mana battery, letting every other Elf tap for {G} or {U} while each land that enters creates an Elf. The secondary Thranduil, Sindarin Liege, is a hidden commander that repeats the same Elf-making landfall and pumps the board. Extra land drops from Oracle of Mul Daya, Azusa, and Exploration convert lands into tokens, treasures, and counters, then Craterhoof Behemoth or Ezuri's overrun closes. Two independent combo lines-Kodama/Scute/Simic Growth Chamber loops and Staff of Domination with an oversized Elf druid-give alternate paths to infinite mana and a winning board.
