Sonic the Hedgehog, The Fastest Thing Alive by user7836691

Commander: Sonic the Hedgehog

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai haste-aggro treasure deck helmed by Sonic the Hedgehog. The plan is to deploy cheap haste and flash threats, attack immediately with Sonic, and convert combat and ping damage into Treasure tokens while growing the team with his +1/+1 attack trigger. Caltrops, Pyrohemia, and red sweepers deliberately damage your own haste creatures to flood Treasures, which Academy Manufactor triples and Knuckles the Echidna eventually turns into an alternate win at thirty artifacts. Equipment (The Reaver Cleaver, Hammer of Nazahn, Sword of Vengeance) and finishers like Super State and Thundering Raiju close games through combat. Sonic is a strong accelerator and enabler but not a hard lock-piece; the 99 still presents a coherent haste-combat and Treasure plan without him.
