Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa, focusing on swarm combat and aristocrat life drain. The primary game plan deploys early Zombie creatures and mana ramp, brings out Gisa, and uses her ability to sacrifice high-power creatures into a massive board of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Lord effects like Death Baron, Cemetery Reaper, and Undead Warchief turn these tokens into lethal combat threats, while aristocrat payoffs such as Vengeful Dead, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel punish opponents whenever creatures enter or die. Graveyard recursion through Gravecrawler, Lord of the Undead, and Oversold Cemetery provides strong recovery against opposing disruption. While vulnerable to sweepers and lacking stack protection, the deck reliably establishes a dominant board presence by Turn 6 and finishes games around Turn 8.
