This Esper deck wins by milling opponents out. It uses small repeatable mills like Ruin Crab, Hedron Crab, Mesmeric Orb and Psychic Corrosion to grind, then finishes with large one-shot mills such as Maddening Cacophony, Traumatize, Cut Your Losses and Fractured Sanity, amplified by Fraying Sanity and The Water Crystal. Y'shtola, Night's Blessed acts as a value engine, drawing cards when opponents lose life and draining opponents when you cast noncreature spells of mana value 3 or more. Duskmantle Guildmage functions as a hidden commander, pairing with Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank for an infinite mill/drain loop, while Syr Konrad and The Mindskinner form a second loop.
