Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated 5-color Superfriends control strategy led by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan revolves around developing mana in the early turns, establishing defensive barriers, and controlling the board with efficient spot removal and sweepers like Supreme Verdict and Toxic Deluge. Commander Jace provides consistent card selection and cheat potential via its -3 ability, while imposing a {2} combat tax on opponents attempting to attack your planeswalkers. The deck transitions into the midgame by accumulating loyalty counters with prolific enablers such as Deepglow Skate, Jace's Machinations, and Oath of Teferi. The primary win condition leverages Jace, Reality Sculptor's ultimate ability to exile all but one card from each opponent's library once 25 loyalty counters are amassed across your Jaces, closing out the game as opponents deck out over a single turn cycle.
