Deck overview

This Rakdos deck pilots Mogis, God of Slaughter as a group-slug punisher, turning each opponent's upkeep into a forced choice between a creature or life loss. The primary game plan layers symmetrical draw effects (Howling Mine, Temple Bell, Font of Mythos) with cards that punish each draw (Underworld Dreams, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Fate Unraveler) and then amplifies that damage through multipliers (Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus). Land-destruction pieces (Ruination, Wake of Destruction, Orcish Settlers) and a suite of board wipes (Damnation, Deadly Tempest, Villainous Wrath) keep opponents from establishing a stable board. The deck can finish with a massive X-spell like Torment of Hailfire or Crackle with Power after generating a large mana pool via Cabal Coffers and Black Market. It is a slow, attrition-based strategy that aims to outlast three opponents through inevitability rather than speed.
